Jessica Biel is all smiles in a Thakoon blouson dress and Oscar de la Renta platform sandals at the premiere of Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro held at NYC’s the Tribeca Grand Hotel on March 10. At the premiere, the 28-year-old actress described what climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was like. “She was like this mysterious, foreboding, ominous woman. And she was hidden almost all day long, and just when you were unmotivated, and feeling like crap and uninspired and thinking, ‘What am I doing here?’ the clouds would part and she would peek out, and the beauty would strike you, and then you’d be inspired again,” Jessica told MTV News.

Justin Timberlake turned a business trip to Switzerland into a romantic birthday vacation for his girlfriend Jessica Biel. The pop star flew to Europe last week to attend the Geneva Auto Show and launch the new Audi car as part of his role as a brand ambassador for the motor manufacturer. And Biel flew out to join him to celebrate her 28th birthday on Wednesday (March 03). The couple was pictured walking through the city arm-in-arm and enjoying a sledding trip in the nearby town of Verbier.

ComingSoon.net has learned that Jessica Biel may be in talks to co-star with Richard Gere in Garry Marshall’s remake of Frank Capra’s 1948 political drama State of the Union about a businessman who must reunite with his estranged wife in order to improve his campaign run for the President of the United States. It would reunite Biel with the director of her recent romantic comedy hit Valentine’s Day. Capra’s film, which originally starred Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn, has been adapted with a new screenplay by Rod Lurie, who has more than a little experience with the subject of political campaigning from his 2000 film The Contender and the television drama Commander in Chief starring Geena Davis. Richard Gere has been attached to play the lead role for some time with Annette Bening’s name having been mentioned to play his wife. As of yet, nothing has been confirmed including whether Marshall will make State of the Union his next project following the hit Valentine’s Day. So far, they also haven’t set up any sort of distribution deal though we can expect that to change once everything else falls into place.
UPDATE: Since we discovered Biel’s name was in the running for a role in the movie, our original source for the information has seemingly back-tracked, and there’s a chance that Marshall might not even be doing the movie and if he’s out, so is Jessica Biel. Jessica Biel revealed that the most romantic moment of her life was when her other half left a trail of rose petals for her to follow. “The most romantic thing someone has ever done is given me flowers — but they left a trail of petals all along the floor leading all the way through the house to other surprises,” she said. “It was so lovely. And a surprise.”

Jennifer Garner has been giving relationship advice to her Valentine’s Day costar Jessica Biel. Insiders say Garner — who’s married to and raises two children with actor Ben Affleck — gave Biel tips on how to kickstart her romance with on/off boyfriend Justin Timberlake. “She even came up with a ‘relationship cheat sheet’, including ways Jessica could spice things up and play hard to get at the same time,” a source said. “Jen told Jess to calm things down, and remind Justin what attracted her to him in the first place.”

Jessica Biel isn’t sure if she believes in love at first sight. The actress believes one has to get to know a person before they fall for them. “I don’t know if I believe in love at first sight,” said the Valentine’s Day star. “I think often you can meet somebody and you don’t realize it, until later and then you go ‘Oh my God, I think that love happened, I just wasn’t sure that it happened.”
