Jessica Biel is still coming to terms with being followed everywhere she goes, since she began dating Justin Timberlake. The actress was already a star, but her fame has escalated in recent months, as her romance with the pop hunk has blossomed – and she’s rarely off the cover of gossip magazines. Biel tells Parade magazine, “You have to have a sense of humour about anything that has to do with silly magazines. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I did. I had no clue this or that was happening. It’s so funny how it really has become such a crazy, crazy world. You really do just have to laugh at everything. “It’s definitely difficult and sort of bizarre to deal with. You do really have to just get into a place where you feel Zen about it. You just have to take a deep breath and know that somebody is going to be taking your picture while you’re going to the laundry and picking up your dry cleaning. You don’t understand why somebody cares but they’re there. So you just go about your day and ignore them. That’s the best way to deal with it.”

Jessica Biel is astonished men find her magazine photospreads sexy, because shooting them is the most uncomfortable and unnatural experience. The actress explains it takes hours standing in awkward positions to create the polished effect of a covershoot. Biel tells Parade, “It’s never nearly as sexy doing it as it appears in a magazine. You’re sort of laughing through the photo shoot because it’s funny to take yourself so seriously. “I could never be a model because you’re always standing in an awkward position and your back hurts, and you’re wearing heels lying on a rock or in the sand or something. You’re like, ‘This is weird. I’m uncomfortable. I’m itching. I need to scratch.’ “So I would much rather laugh and do a funny sexy scene.”

Jessica Biel is dreading posing nude in her new movie Powder Blue, because she is terrified of stripping off in front of the film crew. The actress plays a stripper in the movie alongside Forest Whitaker and Ray Liotta, but is still unsure about baring all. She says, “I haven’t decided exactly about the nudity. It’s a tough one. “I am considering it but it’s a very scary thing to do. It definitely feels vulnerable to be naked in front of anybody let alone a film crew. And it’s scary because of the internet – you don’t know where it’s going to end up. It’s a moment that could be exploited.”

Jessica Biel found herself watching her favourite movie with its star when she filmed scenes for her latest film Powder Blue with Patrick Swayze. Working with her one-time crush turned Biel into a giggly teenager all over again – and when Swayze joined her for a Dirty Dancing screening in her trailer she almost exploded with joy. Biel says, “Dirty Dancing was one of my favourite films. I watched it every day after school in eighth grade. “We were actually watching it in the trailer one day and he sat down and watched the last half hour with me. It was a really cool moment.”

Justin Timberlake has bought girlfriend Jessica Biel a customised surfboard, the same gift he gave ex Cameron Diaz. The SexyBack singer, who bought Cameron a similar board from the same shop four years ago, is determined to teach Jessica how to ride the waves so he splashed out on a board and a years’ supply of surfboard wax for her. A source said: “He phoned Evolution Surf and ordered a longboard with a blue, yellow and gold design. He also put in an order for a year’s supply of Sex Wax. He thought it’d be fun to surprise her with a board and a trip to Hawaii to teach her how to surf!” Meanwhile, Justin is set to host his first PGA Tour golf event in Las Vegas. The week-long competition, which is scheduled for October 2008, will be named the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The singer will play in the celebrity pro-am competition and perform during the tournament. Justin said: “I couldn’t be more excited. We will make sure to make this event unique and memorable, and we will raise money for charity while participating in the greatest game ever played. “Raising money to better children’s lives while playing golf? I can’t think of a better way to pass the time.” The star is following in the footsteps of Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Sammy Davis Jr. by hosting a PGA Tour event.

Is this the three degrees of separation for the gals of Justin Timberlake? His ex Britney Spears had one of the major meltdowns of the year when she went off on a photographers car with an umbrella. Now Jessica Biel is doing the same thing sans the car. The current girlfriend of JT was none too pleased with photogs. According to Splash News when the actress went into her yoga class in Santa Monica, California recently it was with more than just a mat. Yup, Jessica grabbed the golf umbrella out of her car and used it to shield herself from the paparazzi on her way inside. It didn’t work well and it looks pretty cumbersome to top it off, so hopefully she stops and just goes back to being gorgeous and nice. Next she went all Britney on the paps. Splash writes, “Well, it looks like she was doing more than just being really ticked off with her umbrella. The photo agency reports that she actually hit one of the photographers with her umbrella and told the lot of them to get a real job and stop stalking people.” Splash has photos and muses, “I just wish that she could have been more creative and not pulled a Britney! Really now, the umbrella thing’s been done to death.”

Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel are set to star in the risque political satire Nailed, according to the Hollywood Reporter. David O. Russell is attached to direct and co-write the screenplay with Al Gore’s daughter, Kristin Gore. Biel, 25, would play Sammy Joyce, a socially awkward small-town receptionist who has a nail accidentally shot into her head by a clumsy workman, eliciting wild sexual urges. The uninsured Joyce goes on a crusade to Washington to fight for the rights of the bizarrely injured. She meets an immoral congressman (Gyllenhaal, 26) who takes advantage of her sex drive and capitalizes on her crusade as Joyce heads into her own career in politics. Filming for Nailed has a tentative start date of January 2008.
