Jessica Biel admits she would never make a film like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre again. The actress – who has carved out a successful career since appearing in the flop horror remake – confessed she only took the role as a stepping stone for more appealing films. She said: “If I had that opportunity now I probably wouldn’t do it. But that was a perfect moment in my life and career; where I needed to take on something that would jump start me.” The 26-year-old star – who is dating SexyBack singer Justin Timberlake – said she now intends to be more selective over the roles she takes, especially after enjoying the challenge of Easy Virtue. She added: “It’s hard to find these roles. Complicated, interesting stories and interesting women. The bar has been set so high. “Now I feel spoilt. I don’t want to do just anything.”

Actress Jessica Biel is set to add designer to her resume, by creating a range of handbags for her boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s fashion line. The William Rast company Timberlake founded with his pal Trace Ayala currently specializes in denim, jackets and tops. But Biel is a handbag fanatic and wants to join in the fun. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are reportedly set to move in together after he purchased a 5.5-million-U.S.-dollar apartment. The 27-year-old singer is said to have bought the lavish residence in New York’s exclusive TriBeCa district, which comes complete with high ceilings, wall-to-ceiling windows and an open plan bedroom, and is keen to set up home with his 26-year-old girlfriend. A source said: “Justin has finally closed on the deal. He is thrilled to be living in such a trendy area of New York and thinks it will make the perfect first property for him and Jessica. They will be moving in over the next week.” Earlier this year, it was claimed Justin was planning to propose to Jessica after he reportedly splashed out on an expensive vintage ring during their romantic holiday in Rome, Italy. Jessica picked out the ring, along with a diamond bracelet also from the 70s, at a tiny, unmarked shop in a cobbled street near Via Condotti, Rome’s most exclusive shopping street. Shop owner Nicola Boncompagni said: “I could tell they had very refined taste because they asked about the history of all the jewellery. They seemed shy but in love.”

Jessica Biel once took her dad on one of her dates. The Easy Virtue actress auctioned a night in her company to raise medical funds for a Colorado teenager in 2006 and says she took her father along for support when she met with the winner. She said: “It was a little bit awkward, kind of uncomfortable but luckily the guy was very cool. I brought my dad with me just in case anything got weird he was sitting in the next booth staring daggers at the poor guy but he was a really completely harmless gentleman.” The winning bidder, John Schiffner, paid $30,000 for the date, which took place at Denver’s The Palm restaurant. After learning how much the auction had raised, the actress quipped: “I promise I’m a cheap date.” The money raised was donated to Molly Bloom, who had been injured in a car accident.
