Oct 27 | Jessie does Marie Claire (UK)
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have been unofficially dating for the last year or more, and it’s done much to raise her professional profile. She’s dated celebrities before – including former co-stars Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds – but being with ‘the world’s most eligible bachelor’ has pushed her into a place she’s not certain she wants to be in. ‘It’s hard,’ she says, ‘the hardest part of this whole wonderful, bizarre lifestyle and profession. You have to be Zen about it, because it can make you crazy. There are times when I’ve been followed by men with giant cameras in giant SUVs all day long. It scares the crap out of me and I literally come home and emotionally erupt and cry it out and sit on the floor and think, “Do I really want this?”’ But she does. Badly. And she’s not going to let a few men with large lenses steer her away from her destiny – she’s worked too hard for it. (more…)
Jul 11 | Jessica in “Harper’s Bazaar” August 2008
Jessica Biel talks paparazzi, marriage and fried green tomatoes in the August 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Here are some of the great quotes from the interview:
On being shocked by the paparazzi’s guerrilla tactics: “It’s terribly scary to be followed by men in cars with cameras. It’s terrifying, you know? They’re breaking traffic laws and putting you and other people in danger. I try to follow the speed limit and be Zen about it. It’s not like I’m doing anything exciting — going to the dry cleaners or to Whole Foods to shop for groceries.”
On what she loves about Columbia, South Carolina, where she shot her new movie, Nailed: “I love the food. I really have to hold myself back because if I had my choice, I would eat fried green tomatoes and goat cheese all day, every day.”
On marriage (but no mention of Justin Timberlake): “I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘I have to, have to, have to have it.’ But the idea of being with somebody I care about, who’s my soul mate, that sounds groovy.” Thanks to JustJared for the find!

May 06 | Jessica in Elle Magazine (June 2007)
In the new issue of Elle Magazine, hitting stores on Tuesday, May 08, Jessica tells Elle all about her myriad problems, and how being named the “Sexiest Woman in the World” isn’t all that nice.
On being famous: “I can’t even go to the dry cleaner by myself anymore. You’re seen in public with anybody that you might not even know and you’re speculated about. It makes everything hard because you can’t even go to pick up a prescription without somebody trying to snap a photo of what you have in your Long Drugs bag. Thank goodness I’m a nice person.”
On still struggling to get parts she wants: “Parts that I want aren’t going to me. Like The Other Boleyn Girl with Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman. I don’t want to say there’s nothing I love that I can’t have. But there’s still the occasional script that the director doesn’t want to see you for. They want that top tier of girls.”
On having “Her Moment”: “The scary thing is that if it’s ‘your moment,’ that eventually disappears. I think about reaching for ‘the moment,’ but never really achieving it. That way I’m always striving.”
On being named “Sexiest Woman Alive” by Esquire magazine: “I thought the Esquire cover was going to be really positive for my career. But it wasn’t, really. [One director told me] ‘I’m not looking for the sexiest woman; I’m looking for the girl next door.’”
On celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday in March 2007: Someone said, ‘You have five years till 30.’ I started to think, Wow over the next five years my life could really change personally.”
On being considered ‘buff’: “This is the thinnest and the least muscular I’ve been in a long time. I’m so lean and feminine.”
On posing topless for Gear Magazine at 17: “I was all over the place. I was being a rebellious teenager.”
