Jessica Biel hasn’t forgotten about the little people! The Easy Virtue actress enjoyed a slap-up lunch with friends at M’s Cafe in Hollywood after dropping her car off with the valet — and leaving him a HUGE tip. Also? Biel has the words “Big f*****’ wallet” embroidered on her purse, according to a report in Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper.

When Jon Biel wanted to enlist some help for a music charity for underprivileged New York children, he knew just where to turn: daughter Jessica’s boyfriend: Justin Timberlake. Through Jon Biel, the pop star saw a newspaper story about Ten O’Clock Classics, which provides lessons and instruments, and agreed to autograph a baby grand piano to be sold at a October 22 auction. “He cares about music education and wants to make sure these kids can continue to have music lessons,” says Ronen Segev, founder of the non-profit, which also received a signed piano from Billy Joel and is working with other celebrities. “They listen to his music and they connect with him. Justin Timberlake’s first Emmy Awards were almost ruined by his girlfriend Jessica Biel’s cold. Biel had to give up the opportunity to join the SexyBack hitmaker at the big show in Los Angeles on Sunday night (September 20) because she was sick – and Timberlake brought her cold with him. Explaining why he was dateless, the singer says, “I’m fighting off a cold and she’s sick as well… We’re quite a pair right now.”

Jessica Biel gets a lot of attention for her relationship with Mr. SexyBack, but she’s a lot more than Justin Timberlake’s girlfriend. Since her primetime stint on 7th Heaven, the box office beauty has co-starred with Oscar winners Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti. Self-proclaimed “Internet challenged” Jessica Biel, aka the future Mrs. Justin Timberlake, has joined the blogosphere via MySpace! Here’s her very first post:
“Okay, so I’m sitting in my trailer between set-ups and I am praying for a surge of inspiration to make my first blogging experience a positive one.
I definitely did not make it onto the debate team in high school so I’m feeling extremely insecure about communicating publicly for the first time via the blogosphere (how about that word for a novice?). I’m still getting the lingo down. I have been “internet challenged” long enough and am thrilled to join the tech revolution! Plus, I only have four friends and am in dire need of more. Just kidding, I have six.
Anyway, not only do I feel cooler being an official blogger, but I’m also realizing that this is a perfect place to share some projects that I’m working on that I’m really excited about. I’m trying on the producer cap with my friend, Michelle, with our production company Iron Ocean Films. We made a thirty minute short last year, called Hole in the Paper Sky about a man’s experience after meeting a dog that changes his life. I think it’s a really evocative, beautiful film, and it has won an award at all four festivals where it has screened. I’ll put up a trailer as soon as I can figure out how to do that:) I hope that animal lovers will be moved by this film as well because it has an animal rights element to it, which I’m a huge advocate for. I’m actually sitting here with my dog, Tina. She’s not really into blogging. (more…)
