Through Jon Biel, the pop star saw a newspaper story about Ten O’Clock Classics, which provides lessons and instruments, and agreed to autograph a baby grand piano to be sold at a October 22 auction. “He cares about music education and wants to make sure these kids can continue to have music lessons,” says Ronen Segev, founder of the non-profit, which also received a signed piano from Billy Joel and is working with other celebrities. “They listen to his music and they connect with him. Biel had to give up the opportunity to join the SexyBack hitmaker at the big show in Los Angeles on Sunday night (September 20) because she was sick – and Timberlake brought her cold with him. Explaining why he was dateless, the singer says, “I’m fighting off a cold and she’s sick as well… We’re quite a pair right now.”
