Justin Timberlake turned a business trip to Switzerland into a romantic birthday vacation for his girlfriend Jessica Biel. The pop star flew to Europe last week to attend the Geneva Auto Show and launch the new Audi car as part of his role as a brand ambassador for the motor manufacturer. And Biel flew out to join him to celebrate her 28th birthday on Wednesday (March 03). The couple was pictured walking through the city arm-in-arm and enjoying a sledding trip in the nearby town of Verbier.

Jessica Biel was on a sugar high for days while filming new movie Valentine’s Day after she was forced to repeatedly munch on doughnuts and chocolates in one indulgent shoot. The actress is part of a star-studded cast in the new Garry Marshall romantic comedy, which includes Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher and Bradley Cooper. And one particular day of filming left Biel buzzing around on set. She says, “We shot both scenes on the same day. So in the morning I ate about 10 doughnuts; in the afternoon I ate about 18 or 20 chocolates. I was on a sugar high for days, it was crazy!”

Pretty Woman director Garry Marshall is taking Jamie Foxx’s advice and pushing forward with a movie remake of his hit TV sitcom Laverne & Shirley with new best pals Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner in the title roles. The actresses became bosom buddies on the set of Marshall’s new film Valentine’s Day, prompting their co-star to suggest they’d be perfect for a Laverne & Shirley remake. And Marshall admits he’s committed to making the movie, which will feature cameos from his sister Penny and Cindy Williams – the original Laverne & Shirley. He says, “We’re gonna work on that. Jessica Biel has a “girl crush” on Julia Roberts. The actress – who is dating Justin Timberlake – admits she and the ‘Pretty Woman’ star bonded instantly on the set of their new movie Valentine’s Day and can’t bear to be out of contact with one another. She said: “I hear she has a girl crush on me and I definitely have one on her. I think she is amazing. Although I did panic for a while because I sent her a text and she didn’t reply for a while. But we’re fine now.” The 27-year-old star – whose romance with Justin has been the subject of much speculation that it is on the rocks – also claimed to have no plans to celebrate Valentine’s Day (February 14) with the singer because she is too busy with work. However, she added: “I love Valentine’s Day! It’s great to take a day out and celebrate loving and caring for people… It’s great!” As well as her feelings for Julia, Jessica has previously admitted to having a crush on another of her female Valentine’s Day co-stars. Jessica Biel will not climb Mount Kilimanjaro again. The Valentine’s Day actress was glad she scaled Africa’s highest peak, but the physical challenge left her “miserable”. She said: “I’m never going to that again. I just got back six days ago. It was incredible. “It was such a challenge for me. It was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done… sometimes it was kind of miserable. “Altitude sickness is like a general uncomfortable, uneasy feeling. You just can’t think straight.” However, the 27-year-old actress has suggested everyone should undertake a huge challenge like the one she completed at least once. She added to Access Hollywood: “Hiking for seven hours a day and sleeping in tents and being out in the wilderness was a real experience everyone should try.” Jessica undertook the trek up the mountain to raise global awareness of the world’s water crisis alongside actor Emile Hirsch and other philanthropists including Kick Kennedy – granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy and executive of the UN Foundation Elizabeth Gore.

Rapper Lupe Fiasco has laughed off rumours he struck up a romance with Jessica Biel after the pair climbed Mount Kilimanjaro earlier this month. Fiasco was linked to the actress, the girlfriend of pop star Justin Timberlake, after the charity trek to the top of the Tanzanian peak. But while he counts Biel as a close friend, he is adamant their relationship is strictly platonic. He tells MTV.com, “She’s a very lovely person. I do consider her a friend. Jessica Biel is considering reinventing herself as a Hollywood bad girl – because she fears her good girl reputation is costing her movie roles. The actress prefers a quiet life with boyfriend Justin Timberlake to nights on the Tinseltown party scene, but she’s beginning to worry a lack of tabloid attention is holding her back. Biel tells Vogue magazine, “I might just be way too boring to ever be a really great actress.” When Vogue’s interviewer suggests great stars “kick up dust everywhere”, the actress hints she might consider an image makeover. Biel replies, “I don’t do that. Maybe I should do a little bit more of that. A dust kicker-upper might be kind of fun.” But the last time she dabbled with a racier image, she landed in big trouble with her parents. The actress was only a minor when she appeared topless for Gear magazine. She hoped the saucy spread would force TV bosses to release her from her contract on TV show 7th Heaven, and leave her free to accept movie offers and consider a stint at college. But the move backfired and her family and friends were appalled by the revealing snaps. She explains, “It was terribly embarrassing. I had to apologise to everybody, including my parents. It was a big learning experience – learning how to have boundaries and how to say no.”
