Aug 05 | Cheesy Actress Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel is addicted to cheese. The A-Team actress sticks to a strict diet and exercise regime when she is shooting her movies, which means she has to go without the calorific dairy delight, much to her annoyance. She told BANG Showbiz: “I have a pretty good diet, pretty much, when I’m working. “When I’m not working it goes out of the window. I’m very much a savoury person. I love pizza, bread, pasta and cheese. “Cheese on top of cheese, on top of cheese! It’s the best.” Jessica has been in the UK this week promoting ‘The A-Team’ and admits her favourite thing about coming to Britain is the food. The 28-year-old beauty has a particular fondness for crumpets – a delicious bread snack traditionally topped with butter and jam. Jessica – who plays military hardliner Charisa Sosa in the reimagining of the 80s TV show – said: “I love the British food! What are those things… crumpets! Crumpets are amazing. I had poached eggs on them the other morning but I really like butter or jam. I’m a great fan of, oh what’s that stuff again? Cottage cheese!” Last month, Jessica admitted she has to work hard to maintain toned physique. She said: “This doesn’t just happen naturally. I eat very well and that means staying away from sugar, coffee, bread, wheat and gluten – all the fun stuff that everyone wants to eat! It’s hard but I’m very disciplined.” Source: Contactmusic

Aug 02 | Jessica Biel Loved Manly A-Team Set

Jessica Biel was “one of the guys” on the set of The A-Team. Despite being the only girl on set, the 28-year-old brunette beauty – who plays military hardliner Charisa Sosa in the reimagining of the 80s TV show – loved being surrounded by macho guys all day. Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie at the Empire cinema in London’s Leicester Square, Jessica told BANG Showbiz: “I was pretty much just one of the guys. Our director Joe Carnahan just made everything so comfortable. So I never felt like an intruder coming into a boys club. And the guys are so nice and so kind and so professional and really behaved themselves. We had a really great time.” The actress – who is currently dating pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake – was also more than happy to shoot her romantic scenes with Bradley Cooper, who plays Templeton ‘Face’ Peck. She said: “Kissing Bradley Cooper? Well somebody has to do it!” Source: Contactmusic

Jul 30 | Jessica Biel Gets Paranoid About Pimples

Jessica Biel is insecure about her looks – especially her “pimples”. The screen beauty insists she suffers from the same self-doubts as every other woman, and even more so when she has an outbreak of zits. Speaking to Look magazine, Biel – who started working as a model at the age of 12 – explained: “I get pimples on my face because I wear so much make-up and work out a lot, so I sweat. “If I gain any weight it’s always right around my hips, so that area sometimes bugs me, and I wish my legs were longer. I have the same insecurities as every other person.” Although she sticks to a strict diet and exercise regime, the A-Team actress finds it “difficult” to maintain her trim figure. Jessica is happy to admit her toned physique doesn’t come naturally to her and she has to work extremely hard to stay looking good. She said: “This doesn’t just happen naturally. I eat very well and that means staying away from sugar, coffee, bread, wheat and gluten – all the fun stuff that everyone wants to eat! “It’s hard and yes, I’m very disciplined. I can keep myself on track for a very long time but I’m not perfect and fall off the wagon every now and again. I try to create a system for myself so that when I’m working I eat well, then I pick a day – maybe Sunday – when I eat whatever I want.” Source: Contactmusic

Jul 27 | Jessica Biel Hates Toxic Critics

Jessica Biel thinks criticism can be “toxic”. The A-Team actress admits she tries to avoid paying attention to negative opinions because she doesn’t want to live her life trying to please others. She said: “If you let in, what people say about you and how people think about you, it’s just toxic. It’s just horrible to try to please a bunch of people that you’ve never met before, who want to just make assumptions about your life and your career.” Although she doesn’t like the negative response she can receive whilst in the public eye, Jessica also finds it difficult to accept a compliment. She explained: “I think you just kind of go with it more than anything else, because it’s incredibly flattering to have that said about you. But come on, let’s get serious, there are a lot of people around the world that we don’t know about who are probably incredibly beautiful, so it just feels like, ‘OK, cool. Thanks, I appreciate it.’ ” Source: Contactmusic

Jul 24 | Jessica Biel’s Food Obsession

Jessica Biel thinks food “is like a drug”. The A-Team actress admits she has cravings for healthy snacks when she is working on a movie, because she needs to be able to keep working for 18 hours at a time. She said: “I really feel like food is a drug. When I’m not eating properly, I have less energy – my body looks different, which means it looks different on film. I look different through my face. I think about those kinds of things and I want to feel more than it is the vanity part of it. I want to feel I can go 18 hours on set, if we have to, working, working, working, and feel confident about my health. So when I’m working, I’m really disciplined. When I’m not working, I’m very undisciplined.” The 28-year-old beauty admits she loves tucking into her favourite foods, but is restricted to what she can eat. She added in an interview with OK! magazine: “I love food, love it. But I’m really disciplined and boring most of the time. It’s so true!” Source: Contactmusic
